The school ist easily accessible by both car and public transport. They are looking for a Religious Studies Teacher to join them after Easter, until the end of the academic year. This is a 1 term contract, working 5 days a week.
Your new role
As this is a long-term role, you will be required to:
Plan and prepare Religious Education lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 dependent on experience)
Complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work, along with being involved with facility and department meetings.
You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are progressing consistently and achieving target grades.
Have a focus on keeping high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You must have QTS or equivalent qualification
You must have experience teaching within the last 2 years that we can reference
DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
Available to start at Easter
