We are Vets for Pets but we run independently very similar to an independently run practice. I myself came from an independent practice and to be honest you get the benefits of an independent practice and a corporate practice so the best of both worlds. We are a close friendly and inspiring team, we have lots of facilities including the routine things you would expect to find in a modern veterinary practice. Our nurses are encouraged to complete and fulfil aspirations, use and utilise their nursing skills if that be in surgery or consultations. We offer the normal holiday and pension allowance which increases over the time you are employed including full sick pay again this varies. What we would like from you:

Help with the day to day running of the practice, Nursing including lab, surgery, consultations and using your skills in the best way possible Mentoring (being a clinical coach is great teaching all the new aspiring nurses) Assisting in maintaining the Practice Standards Scheme Being supportive and looking after each other. Experience in a busy practice. We are happy to have an informal chat or by all means come in and ask any of our team with any questions and they will be open and honest. This can always be arranged confidentially, we offer this as we think team fit is important and feeling part of the team is just as important. We are a busy small animal practice we do see a varied mixture of insured pets and we do also see some exotics. We are based just on the outskirts of Edgbaston Birmingham, we do in house Orthopaedic surgery and complex soft tissue complex surgeries. We have a very mixed experienced team including a Vet who is a Certificate Holder in Soft Tissue Surgery and other vets working on other certificates which brings a varied case load. Obviously cleaning and reception duties at times will be required but this is not every day as we also have a dedicated reception team. We also have nurses who are currently completing certificates in Surgery and other areas as we do encourage our nurses to fulfil aspirations. We also work alongside some amazing student nurses who again some are just starting out and others almost at the finish line. We have tried to put as much information into this advert as we can to show we really do have an amazing team and we are not just saying it. If you have any questions at all no matter how small, please feel free to drop us an email. Location: B32 2AL Pets just see people. They arent biased and they dont discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience dont perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
