Work as a Electrical Design Engineer in London
An exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer with a market leading automotive defence brand. This role will see you understanding the vehicle systems of robust off-road vehicles across a multidisciplinary engineering team. This role is based in Devon and requires a fully onsite commitment with a salary up to £48,000 per annum.
As Electrical Design Engineer will you be responsible for:
Produce component level assemblies and designs from concept to production using CAD.
Produce circuit diagrams and schematics to the agreed upon requirements and timeframe.
Maintain accurate design records and version control.
Liaise with suppliers to order and source new components.
Assess prototype components for correct fit and function.
To be a successful Electrical Design Engineer you will have:
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Automotive Engineer.
Qualified to a minimum of HNC in Electrical, Automotive or similar engineering discipline.
An interest in the Automotive sector.
Understanding of such vehicle systems electrical schematics and looms.
3D Cad skills, preferably Solidworks but any training will be given if necessary.
