Carriera has partnered with one of the UKs leading construction and engineering consultancies who are recruiting for an Senior Fire Engineer to join their Fire Consultancy department and be part of their growing team of fire safety professionals out of their in Leeds, Sheffield or Manchester to oversee projects across the North of England.
Our client has a rich history with 13 offices across the UK, boasting a headcount of 1500+ employees where they offer a range of professional services to their clients throughout the built environment.
The fire consultancy team in the North currently turnover £2m annually with aspirations to grow this to £4m by 2030 and circa £15m across the UK offices. They offer a range of fire safety services including fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys, retrospective fire strategies, fire assurance, project management of remedial works, and general fire compliance advice.
The business has key relationships across the UK with the MoD, Local Authorities/ Housing Associations, Universities & Colleges, Hotels, and Commercial organisations and are appointed on a variety of large frameworks.
This role would suit an ambitious, competent and technically strong fire engineering professional who feels stagnated in their current role and is looking to join a fast paced environment with a diverse range of projects to lead on. It is worth mentioning that the successful candidate will be fast tracked to Associate through the business structure with aspirations that they take control of fire engineering growth in the Northern region.
Requirements:
Degree educated within fire engineering, structural engineering or related discipline.
CEng, IEng or EngTech status or working towards (desirable).
Membership to IFE.
Several years experience within a senior fire engineering role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK Driving license.
