We are working with a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their consumers. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality, Health, and Safety (QHS) Manager to join their team. As the QHS Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing their quality, health, and safety standards across all facets of their food manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive QHS programs, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure product quality and adherence to regulatory standards. Establish and maintain effective Health and Safety programs, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the organization. Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes, facilities, and documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with QHS standards. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address and resolve quality and safety issues promptly. Lead investigations into incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging issues related to food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety. Develop and deliver QHS training programs for employees at all levels of the organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QHS performance and operational efficiency. Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field (Food Science, Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.). Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of relevant quality and safety standards, regulations, and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Certification in quality and safety management (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP, NEBOSH) is a plus. Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
