Main Duties and Responsibilities of an Emergency Lighting Engineer: As an Emergency Lighting Engineer, you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry. Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 with weekend work and overtime available upon request! The main duties of an Emergency Lighting Engineer include: To carry out company works as required to desired standards Fault Finding Servicing of communal, emergency, and external lighting On site repairs Compiling an asset register when on site Provide high levels of customer service. Promote a good external perception of the company at all times. To comply with company procedures to ensure a smooth delivery of our service To produce quality reporting on time Adhere to the companys quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly Experience & Skills UK Driving License (required) C&G L2, C&G L3 or equivalent AM2 (desirable) 18th Addition (desirable) Emergency Lighting qualification C&G unit 1 & Unit 2 (desirable) Must hold full UK driving licence Salary and benefits Competitive salary relative to experience (PAYE) 23 days holiday per year, rising to 25 days after two years of employment Buy and sell holiday scheme.
