We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planned maintenance on electrical plant equipment in Central London. This role demands strong communication skills and a keen awareness of the working environment due to the high-profile nature of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct planned maintenance tasks on a variety of electrical plant equipment commonly found in commercial buildings, including but not limited to:
HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
Lighting systems
Power distribution systems
Fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
Security and access control systems
Lifts and escalators
UPS and back up generators
Ensure proper functioning and efficiency of electrical equipment to maintain optimal building performance.
Perform regular inspections and tests in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other maintenance teams to coordinate efforts and address cross-functional issues.
Document maintenance activities, including reports on equipment status, repairs, and replacements.
Requirements:
Fully electrically qualified.
Experience in building services maintenance is essential.
High Voltage (HV) training is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Awareness of the importance of discretion and professionalism in high-profile environments.
Benefits:
Competitive salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule
