Overview
This is an opportunity to join a major UK food business which is currently experiencing rapid growth. The business produces some of the nations favourite products and you will play a key role by leading the process development of products across 3 factories.
The Role
Successfully deliver product launches on time and in full against the development trial plan.
Manage trial critical paths, forecasts and plans & controls own resources to deliver development activity to the agreed quality and to trial budget.
Contribute to the culture of quality and continuous improvement ensuring the right resource, behaviours, values and development plans are appraised and developed through teams.
Demonstrate a passion for process excellence.
Recruit, lead, motivate and inspire direct reports up to senior development technologist level to achieve personal development and continual improvement.
Motivate and manage the process team to efficiently deliver NPD launches and process capability expansion.
They will support and mentor team members.
The Candidate
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced role.
A proven track record in Process Development.
Preferably a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Process Engineering or similar.
Leadership ability and strong communication skills.
The ability to form strong and effective internal and external relationships.
