Work as a Contracts Manager in London
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including project managers, site managers, and other staff members.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress and quality.
Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and opportunities.
Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and contract law.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIOB, RICS) are desirable but not essential.
