Work as a Chef in Inverness
Position Overview: An immediate opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Chef work within a healthcare facility on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of nutritious and delicious meals to our residents/patients. This role requires a strong background as a Chef de Partie or Cook, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and food safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and recipes that meet the nutritional needs of our residents/patients.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, following health and safety regulations.
Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Cook, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of dietary requirements and restrictions.
Food hygiene and safety certification.
Job Details:
Temporary position for at least 2-3 months.
Shifts: 5 days out of 7, weekend on, weekend off, hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Hourly rate: £14 per hour.
