We are seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Operations Manager to join our client team based in the Bishop's Stortford area. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our children's homes. Your leadership skills, coupled with your commitment to the well-being of children, will be integral in maintaining high standards of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational plans and procedures to uphold organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Oversee day-to-day operations of children's homes, including staff management and facility maintenance.
Train, supervise, and support staff to deliver high-quality care and support for children.
Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards governing children's homes.
Identify and mitigate potential risks within homes, utilising data-driven insights and proactive measures.
Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders to promote collaborative working and achieve optimal outcomes for children.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree-level education or equivalent preferred.
Extensive experience in social work, social care, or related fields.
Significant management experience within children's homes or similar settings.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in safeguarding and child protection.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
