Job description

Position: IT Account Manager Location: Leeds Salary: up to £30,000 plus commission Contract: Permanent, full-time Verus Recruitment is excited to represent a leading IT-managed service provider in search of a talented Account Manager to join their team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work closely with clients, ensuring the seamless delivery of IT solutions tailored to their needs. As the Account Manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and championing their suite of services. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong and enduring relationships based on trust and understanding. Engage proactively with clients to comprehend their business objectives, challenges, and IT requirements. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on service delivery and addressing any concerns promptly. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts, collaborating closely with the sales team. Understand clients' evolving IT needs and align their services to meet their requirements effectively. Promote their range of IT solutions, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of partnering with us. Monitor service performance metrics and SLAs, taking proactive measures to maintain client satisfaction. Conduct regular service reviews with clients to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop comprehensive account plans outlining objectives, stakeholders, and growth strategies. Stay well-informed of industry trends and competitor activities to provide strategic guidance to clients.

Requirements: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Previous experience in IT sales and account management, preferably within Managed Services. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and related solutions. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required. Ability to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, if necessary.
