Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to breakdown maintenance, swiftly diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
Perform general mechanical fitting, component assembly/disassembly, centrifugal pump maintenance, welding (all types), fabrication, and threaded & welded pipework.
Conduct machining tasks including milling and turning.
Work in industrial environments, adhering strictly to Health and Safety standards and regulations, and always ensuring compliance with PPE requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
Preferably holds NVQ in mechanical engineering or possesses relevant knowledge/experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
Strong problem-solving abilities with good time management skills.

Working Hours:
Full-time, working days 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday, with mandatory call-out rota (approximately 1 in 4 weekends).
