Equinix is seeking a Business Assurance Services (BAS) Intern to support the Company’s corporate finance, information technology and business operations initiatives. The position will be based in Amsterdam and, report to the EMEA Business
Assurance Services Manager. The BAS Intern will be responsible for supporting cross-functional projects that may include business intelligence and analytics. We are looking for a highly qualified professional with both business and analytical capabilities.
Job Details:
Responsibilities of the BAS Intern will include (but not limited to):
• Identify and evaluate risks associated with Equinix’s business process environment.
• Assist with the planning, assessment, and reporting of operational audits and reviews.
• Generate value added recommendations to enhance overall internal control
• Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned by team leadership.
• Communicate effectively with business process owners.
• Facilitate identification and distribution of best practices.
• Promote a collaborative, positive work environment.
Qualifications:
The BAS Intern will have the following qualifications:
• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or related areas (master’s-level degree a plus).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Fluent in German and/or French is a plus
