Weekend Young People Support Worker
You will take on support tasks that are handed over by the weekday team and organise and facilitate social, recreational and educational activities for our Clients.
What are you going to do:
We have 2 new part-time (15 hours per week) roles on offer to youth-focused individuals who are interested to work in our innovative project to tackle and prevent young people from rough sleeping. As a Weekend Young People Support Worker, you will support young people to move their lives forward. This new role is comprised of 7.5 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (8am – 4pm, 2.15pm – 10.15 pm).
Whilst the project work is at the weekend, post holders will need to attend mandatory training on weekdays and complete online trainings at time of their own choosing, for which they will be paid.
The weekend team will take on support tasks that are handed over by the weekday team and organise and facilitate social, recreational and educational activities.

The London Youth Hub is in an innovative project commissioned by the Greater London Authority (GLA) to tackle and prevent young people rough sleeping. The project serves all of London and is located in the north of Islington. It provides emergency accommodation to 26 young people aged 18 to 24. The accommodation is combined with support to enable young people to address their aspirations and support needs, with a major focus on identifying move-on accommodation so that clients can move their lives forward and leave homelessness behind.
