Job Title: Performance Excellence Manager

Location: Rochester, Kent. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure projects adhere to Lifecycle Management Framework (LCM), with accurate, timely data, proactive risk and opportunity management, effective planning for health indicators, and actionable customer satisfaction insights
  • Oversee Project reporting is timely, transparent, and insightful
  • Foster a culture of Learning from Experience and encourage the exchange of information across the business
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality project delivery and maximise employee potential
  • Offer expertise on lifecycle management applications and deliver comprehensive training

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Demonstrated ability in leading process improvement initiatives, scoping business projects, and utilising data
  • Background in Project Management, Engineering Management, or Business Management
  • Proven experience in coaching and supporting, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to effectively influence a wide range of stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Capable of creating and leveraging tools such as Power BI and capabilities such as Generative AI

The Project Management Team:

Work closely with the Director of Business Planning and Programme Management in the Performance Excellence team, a dynamic group dedicated to driving business success across Electronic Systems in the UK.

As a Performance Excellence Manager, you’ll be at the heart of transformation, leading improvements and consulting on various projects. You’ll use a wide range of skills, from project lifecycle management to delivering improvement programmes and analysing data. In this role you will inspire others, foster development, and bring a passion for driving change.
