PR / Social Media Internship in London Dance Academy (paid)

This 3 months internship represents a unique opportunity to build on your existing PR and digital knowledge. Although dates are flexible, we'd like you to start ASAP.

You will work with the company founders to promote the Academy's dance classes and Tango Fashion range, and help optimise existing marketing campaigns using Social Media and SEO - from Google, Facebook, Youtube, to Twitter etc. You will receive training where necessary but we'd like you to come with a profound knowledge of these channels so you can proactively propose solutions too. And you'll have unlimited access to our evening dance classes so you'll be able to learn the art of Tango as well.

Desired Skills & Experience

We're looking for a highly-motivated, self-starter candidate deeply interested in art and especially dance (Tango), which is our business and passion.

You will bring ideas and a proactive approach to developing PR & Social Media campaigns. Because you will be representing our brand, you will need to demonstrate impeccable verbal and written communication skills - some prior exposure to Social Media utilisation (you may have a blog or a successful Twitter/Facebook page) and rigour in managing your daily tasks. As such, you need to be able to write articles and press releases that will grab the reader's attention, and promote these articles to the press.

You will need to like the idea of working in a small entity, which means limited resources but also very quick decision making. If this sounds like your cup of tea (or tango step), we'd love to hear from you.

Tanguito is the fastest growing Argentine Tango Academy in London. We're not only offering group classes, we also train newlyweds, we/re organising parties and trips abroad, we're selling our Tango Fashion line online, and much more.

Your skills:

• Building, maintaining and optimising social media campaigns
• Media/Public Relations/Marketing degree (completed or not)
• Focused, enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards work
• Excellent written English (Native or Bilingual)
• Able to write enticing articles on different topics (for blogs)
• Organised, excellent time management skills
• Understanding of how Google works
