Ubiqus is currently recruiting people with a legal background to attend regulatory hearings in central Edinburgh, to take an audio recording and chronological log of proceedings.
Job description
Ubiqus provides transcription services to a range of law firms, government organisations and regulatory bodies. These clients require us to take audio (digital) recordings and electronic notes of hearings, and store these recordings until such a time that a transcript is required.
We are seeking loggers to attend disciplinary/legal hearings for the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) and HPC (Health Professions Council), to take a clear audio recording and chronological log of proceedings, which may be required at a later date to produce a transcript.
Person Specification:
Ideal for people studying law or have previous experience in the field.
Successful candidates will be professional, presentable and reliable, with excellent communication skills, and have a sound knowledge of legal proceedings.
Training is provided.
