About the program
From Business Services to Finance, Group Internal Audit to Operations, and Risk to Technology (Markets and International Banking), Specialist Careers is made up of core business areas that keep our global bank running smoothly. So whichever department you join on your internship, you'll be making a real contribution to RBS. You'll also be learning from day one of your orientation week through to the presentation of your final project. Along the way, you'll develop a genuine understanding of financial markets and your business area, plus skills that include project management, relationship building, team working and presenting. More importantly, you'll get a concrete idea of where you could fit in to RBS.
About you
Specialist Careers Our summer internships are for penultimate year students from any academic discipline. However, while we're more interested in your personality and fresh ideas than your degree subject, we still ask that you have a genuine interest in building a career in financial services. You'll also need to be a fast learner with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and plenty of enthusiasm.
