Drum and Bass Ambassador (Journalism Internship)

Job description

We're a newspaper and website publication searching for our next Drum and Bass and House music ambassadors who can create vibrant, exciting and enjoyable content for our readers, whilst learning about the daily functions of a publication. 

To be our Drum and Bass and (or) House ambassador you first need a genuine passion and knowledge of the music. You'll also need to be a quirky, charismatic writers with a keen interest in journalism and a desire to gain experience in producing feature articles, reviews, interviews and tweets for us. You’ll be asked to research and write on old as well as up and coming artists to reviews on new releases, event previews and reviews, and if you're keen you can even conduct artist interviews! You may be asked to attend DnB events to review. You'll need to keep up with what’s hot at the moment, as every month we will require a Top 10 RnB events list in clubs around London.

This is an unpaid role but you will learn about the world of music journalism while building up an impressive portfolio of written work to show future employers. Not only that but you'll gain experience in handling social media and be given the opportunity to have real input into the DnB and House sections of the newspaper and website from day one!

No experience is necessary but this role is best suited to someone who enjoys the party scene, light-hearted and fun-loving (and it also helps if you write well).
