Innovative and quality-focused Food Manufacturer, looking for a Factory Technical Manager for their site based in Lancashire. The successful candidate will oversee the factory technical function, supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Technical, Quality and HSE standards across the site. 

Responsibilities for the role will include:

·      Planning and defining activities to ensure goods and services are generated with a level of quality that fully meet the specified requirements

·      Development of new products, ensuring quality and safety are respected

·      Defining the objectives and strategies for Continuous Quality Improvement

·      Planning, coordinating and directing quality control programs

·      Coordinating the resolution of problems and implementing corrective actions for complaints / customer enquiries related to food quality

·      Maintaining accreditation certificates

·      Facilitating visits and audits from customers, accreditation bodies and regulatory bodies

·      Ensuring the accuracy of the product and packaging samples

·      HACCP Team Leader

Essential / Desirable skills include:

·      Degree or specific courses related to the position

·      Ideally HACCP level 4

·      GMP and BRCGS experience

·      Standards of Health & Safety at work

·      Factory Technical Manager experience
