Business Development Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BD Assistant to join our growing start-up and contribute to all aspects of our business. If you’re an organised, proactive individual with a knack for speaking to people we want to hear from you!

8 - 24 hours per week
Between £12.00 and £15.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

This can be a busy administrative role at times, with clients across the UK needing to have appointments booked and test kits sent to them. There is a flow to the client management side of the business and so it can be picked up by anyone with good communication, common sense, and the ability to prioritise tasks. 

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

·       Client Management: Liaise with current clients and check if they want to continue to enrol on our cancer screening programme.

·       Booking Admin: Assist the team in the booking process which includes coordinating with clients, clinics or mobile phlebotomists.

·       Calls: Taking sales calls that come in and also calling old leads. Call prospective new clients to assess their needs and offer our services to them.

·       Marketing: Assist with creating and maintaining marketing collateral and newsletters.

·       Sales Tracking: Track deals and the sales pipeline on our CRM system.

·       Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on marketing campaign performance, including KPIs and ROI. Use data insights to refine strategies, ensuring campaigns meet goals and support business growth.

·       Meeting Preparation: Take detailed minutes during meetings.

Required Skills and Experience

 

·       Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

·       Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe. Ideally has experience with CRM systems (ours is HubSpot), but not required.

·       Highly organised with strong time management abilities.

·       Familiarity with marketing analytics tools - Google Ads is an advantage but not essential.

·       Experience of working in an office.

·       Confident at making and taking calls every day.

·       A kind nature who wants to help people!
