Maths and English Study Centre Teaching Assistant

What are you going to do:

Location: Hoxton ( Near Britannia Leisure Centre)
Hours: 7-10 hours/week (Monday & Thursday 3:45 PM – 7:15 PM, Saturday 1:15 PM – 4:15 PM)
Pay Rate: £8-10 per hour

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented high school or college student to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. The main responsibilities will include marking worksheets, recording student progress, and organizing materials. No prior experience is required – just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail!

Key Responsibilities:

Marking and Recording: Grade students’ worksheets accurately and record scores in our system
Organizing Materials: Prepare and arrange worksheets for students
Assisting in Class: Support young learners by guiding them through their study process when needed
Keeping Track of Student Progress: Help maintain records and ensure learning consistency

Requirements:

Current high school or college student
Fluent in English (good reading and writing skills)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow marking guidelines
Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn
A ‘can-do’ attitude – we value enthusiasm and initiative!
