What You Will Do
Join our Major Projects Group, delivering large-scale projects across the UK. As Project Manager, you'll lead projects from initial development to successful completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. This hybrid role, based in Birmingham, includes site travel. You'll primarily manage one major project, overseeing cost control, Health & Safety, dispute resolution, and monthly forecasting to meet revenue and margin targets.

How You Will Do It
  • Manage projects on time, within budget, and to high standards
  • Lead and coordinate engineers and subcontractors on site
  • Implement project procedures and brief staff effectively
  • Schedule manpower and resources for timely delivery
  • Conduct regular safety and quality audits
  • Maximise productivity and forecast accuracy
  • Oversee CDM regulations, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH, and toolbox talks
  • Track budgets and provide reports to the Contracts Manager

What We Look For
  • Proven experience as a mechanical or electrical Project Manager
  • Strong background in commercial installations
  • Leadership experience managing teams
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Multi-project management experience in M&E, fire, security, or similar fields
  • Solid knowledge of industry regulations and legislation
  • Full UK driving licence
