Part-time QA tester in Finchley

Job description

Small security consultancy and CBT developer firm is looking for a part time QA Tester to help maintaining the quality of development for its flagship training simulator.

Skills and experience

We'd prefer applicants with:

1. Experience working backwards from an issue to its cause (all experience relevant here, not just identifying bugs in software)
2. Excellent all-round communication skills
3. A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to work
4. Ability to write clear and complete testing scenarios
5. The flexibility to work on all types of testing (manual, automated, regression, functional etc)
6. Experience working as a QA tester (or equivalent role) in Agile software development
7. Working knowledge of SQL to validate quality and verify data integrity and consistency
8. Ability to review a product and advise the best approach to testing it
9. Familiarity with common technical components of web application development, such as you'd get from working in a technical role or within a development team is an advantage

Flexible working hours. Salary: £10 per hour.3 months probation. Subject to performance the successful candidate might be offered a full time position.The applicant must be eligible to work in the UK.
