The Business Improvement co- ordination will be a key member of the team, providing a mix of support and assistance to the Consumer MD and Consumer EXCO in planning, co-ordinating and executing initiatives to ensure that the business delivers continuous improvement across multiple areas. This including day to day management, organisation and prioritisation

Business Improvement co coordinator role responsibilities:

  • Work with the business leads to identify, develop, implement team building initiatives
  • Coordinate the request and budget for training, ensuring appropriate approvals
  • Proactively managing the communication strategy for the consumer divisions, developing, directing and ensuring regular up to date content for but not limited to the consumer business internet page, emails and the intranet social tools
  • Creating and circulating Agendas for meetings
  • Co-coordinating, Organising and Preparing Fact Packs, Presentations, and Papers.
  • Responsible for taking Detailed note during Key meetings i.e. (consumer exco)
  • Monitor progress against assigned tasks and actions ensuring timely completion.
  • Proactive in seeking to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Provide general PA/support role for the Consumer MD and Business leads as required.Checking to ensure that nothing is missed, work is accurate and as far as possible, error free.
  • Proactively manage records for the Business divisions
  • Drive coordinate and support implementation of the CES action plans through the business channels, feeding back outcomes to the Consumer Exco
  • Ensures the request for small change projects are collected, coordinated and evaluated from and by the different Consumer business, within the business in the agreed timescale
  • Assisting with the planning, executing of new and existing projects help monitor progress against objectives to ensure that things are on track
  • Proactive in highlight and if appropriate escalate problems/potential problems/risks
  • Supervise the Consumer awards scheme
  • Take personal responsibility for seeing things through to completion in a busy office environment

Business Improvement cocoordinator Knowledge & Skills:

  • Enthusiastic "can do" attitude
  • Good GCSE results in Math, English and ITC (grade B or above)
  • Good AS results (grade C or above)
  • Having worked part time during their education would be an advantage
  • Having had some experience Blogging or having contributed to a school magazine/web/newsletter would be an advantage
  • Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Power-Point)
  • Knowledge of Conduct Rules
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional, well presented
  • Establishes effective working relationships at all levels
  • Customer Focused approach
