What are you going to do:

Join the LRE Foundation, an international non-profit working across Europe on WWII remembrance and education. As a trainee, you'll assist in identifying funding opportunities, supporting grant applications (EU and national level), and strengthening partnerships with donors and foundations.

Candidate profile:
We’re looking for a motivated recent graduate with strong writing and research skills, fluent in English, and interested in fundraising, heritage, or EU projects.

Working conditions:
Full-time, paid traineeship based in Brussels, starting September 2025. Duration: 6 months. 38 hours/week, Monday–Friday. A short onboarding program is provided at the start.

This traineeship is part of the LRE Foundation’s international traineeship programme, offering early-career experience in a dynamic, multilingual work environment. You’ll work closely with experienced staff and receive regular feedback and guidance. The office is located in central Brussels, easily accessible by public transport. Occasional travel within Europe may be required for events or meetings (expenses covered). Interns receive a monthly allowance and access to networking opportunities within the cultural and heritage sector.
