Temporary Lead Arts and Crafts Instructor for Children's Workshops
Part Time Summer Lead Instructor in Catford SE6 for 4 weeks.
What are you going to do:
We are seeking a responsible, creative, and organised Instructor to oversee and deliver high-quality workshop experiences for children. This leadership role is perfect for someone with a background in the arts, education, or child care who enjoys working hands-on with children and leading small teams.
As the Lead Instructor, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the workshop space, overseeing the Assistant, leading engaging sessions, and ensuring a safe and inspiring environment for all participants.
Duration:
5th - 29th August 2025, Tuesday - Friday
Requirements:
- Aged 21 or older.
- Proven experience leading or facilitating groups of children in educational, recreational, or creative settings.
- DBS Certificate – Essential
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) – Essential
- First Aid/CPR Certification – Essential
- Familiarity with a wide range of arts and crafts techniques and tools. - Essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Confident in managing children’s behaviour and maintaining a positive group dynamic.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and dependable.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
