Aircraft Painter / Sprayer | Short-Term Contract | North East England


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading aviation client in the UK. We are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Painters / Sprayers for a short-term assignment based in North East of England. This is an excellent chance to work on a fast-paced project within a dynamic aviation environment.


Location: England, United Kingdom

Position: Aircraft Painter / Sprayer

✈ Industry Experience: Aviation / Aerospace

Contract Duration: 2–4 weeks

⏱ Start Date: ASAP

Shift Pattern: 5-on / 2-off

⏳ Hours: High volume of hours available

Pay Rate: Competitive market rates


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an aircraft painter or sprayer, ideally within a commercial or MRO environment
  • Skilled in all stages of painting including surface preparation, masking, priming, and final coating
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to painting operations
  • Flexibility to work varied hours or shifts depending on project needs


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, ensuring proper sanding, cleaning, and masking
  • Apply primer, base coat, and top coat finishes to a high standard
  • Conduct visual inspections of paintwork to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company standards
