Our client is a top-tier financial services firm, currently scaling its Salesforce platform to support business-critical operations across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Compliance. As part of a multi-year transformation programme, they are embedding DevOps best practices into every layer of their Salesforce ecosystem to drive velocity, quality, and control.

The Role
We're hiring a Head of Salesforce DevOps to lead the platform's CI/CD evolution, shaping governance, tooling, and deployment strategy across multiple Salesforce clouds. This role will own the DevOps roadmap and manage high-performing delivery teams to ensure fast, secure, and scalable releases.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the Salesforce DevOps strategy across the enterprise.
• Oversee the implementation of tools like Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or custom SFDX pipelines
• Lead CI/CD efforts across multiple Salesforce orgs (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing)
• Build and enforce governance models for release management and sandbox strategy
• Collaborate with platform architects, engineering, InfoSec, and business teams
• Mentor teams and embed agile DevOps culture across squads and partners

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years in Salesforce ecosystem, with strong DevOps and CI/CD expertise
• Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, SFDX)
• Deep understanding of metadata architecture, version control, and automated deployments
• Prior leadership on large-scale Salesforce programmes in regulated environments (e.g., BFSI, Telco)
• Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience
• Platform App Builder or Developer certification (Copado/Gearset certs a plus)
