Business Development/Sales - Driver Partner Lead in London

We are looking for motivated, experienced and fast-working Sales individual to help one of our portfolio companies, Via Transportation, to join their London squad as a Driver Partner Lead.

A Bit About You:
We are looking for people who are excited about building Via London's founding Driver base. Your role will be pitching Via to potential drivers to convince them to drive with us. They need people really good at pitching and people who get things done. As a driver partner lead, you'll get a broad introduction to entrepreneurship, business development, and operations management while helping to grow their network of driver partners in London.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Via's senior team on operations, marketing, and analysis;
  • Be responsible for sourcing, pitching and on-boarding new driver partners, develop relationships with them;
  • Provide an impeccable level of customer service in English to Via's driver partners;
  • Become an expert on Via – develop a nuanced understanding of their service to be able to pitch Via to new driver partners and to address inquiries from existing driver partners;

You:

  • Independent, outgoing, enterprising self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
  • Cool under pressure; even when juggling multiple inquiries, you remain conscious of their driver partners' busy schedules, as well as your own
  • Meticulous and vigilant, with a keen attention to detail
  • A savvy, tactful, and graceful communicator – you intuitively find the right tone in every situation

2 months role, with about 20-30 hours a week commitment. Ideally, those hours would be spread evenly across the working week. But can be flexible with your schedule and fixed commitments. You'll be 50/50 in the office and out in the field sourcing driver partners.
