GAMESTARS LTD looking for Frontend Developers in Leeds

We are a web development company based in Leeds currently creating sites in the iGaming/Esports sector. We required talented developers to join our team full time.

What are you going to do:

We are building a a series of iGaming websites based around the Steam API. We require a talented FRONTEND developer to work on the project and be an integral part of our time going forward creating a variety of dynamic websites based around the PC Game and Esports market. Our first website will be an interactive iGaming site offering game skins to Steam Players.

We have a small team of coders/designers who enjoy working together, we use Slack as our comms channel and we record hours with Hubstaff

What we ask

  • University


    • Having experience in the igaming sector coding up either games of chance (roulette, dice, crash games for example) or steam api / csgo skin trading with skins is desirable but not essential.

    It is essential to have the following required skills:

  • 3 Yrs+ Javascript; React
  • TDD tools such as; Karma, Protractor, Mocha, Selenium, Jasmine
  • Understanding of UX best practices
  • Agile Working Methodologies
  • Strong and demonstrable Javascript coding experience
  • Understanding of up to date best practices in writing front end JS (Stateless components, ES6)
  • Used common JS libraries and frameworks to build JS apps
  • Have worked on at least one React or React Native application (other front end frameworks can be considered from strong applicants)
  • Understand the life cycle of a React application
  • Must be able to provide examples of games working with animation and effects, we want to take static images and make them have some life
