Job Title: Social Worker - Children With Disabilities

Length of assignment: 3 Months

Hours per week:37

Hourly rate:£28-£37

Location: Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Peterborough, PE2 8TY

Remote/Office based: Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing assessments from referral stage
• Working with children and families Children in Need, Child Protection
• CLA, PLO and Care Proceedings, Private Proceedings, Deprivation of Liberty within National DOL Court and the Court of Protection.

Skills:

• Social Work England registered
• 3 Years post qualifying experience
• Manage a workload independently, seeking support and suggesting solutions for workload difficulties
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a range of audiences including children, young people, parents and carers and professional colleagues
