Property Underwriter in City of London

Job description

A super opportunity to join a large insurance group as a Property Underwriter working specifically across large corporate risks, heavy industry, manufacturing, recycling etc. These are technical and challenging risks, therefore someone who enjoys the detail in underwriting, with good understanding on risk selection.

You will write a combination of primary and excess business, both follow and lead and will enjoy exposure to the full breadth of the underwriting account, both new business and renewals.

Risks will be the larger minimum premium levels for major risks, ideally if you do come from an SME or mid-market property background you will at least have had exposure to some of he larger accounts in your division currently.
