Quantity Surveyor in Essex

ACR are working in conjunction with an innovative and successful Developer who have a very exciting opening for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Essex region.

The role will see you work within their Fire Legacy Special Projects team and will play an important role within the industry.

Some duties include:

• Negotiation and Analysis of Sub contractor tender returns
• Producing tender analysis for sub contract work packages
• Completion of Sub Contract orders and variations
• Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
• Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting
• Cost reporting and budget control
• Attending site project meetings and liaising with the various departments (technical and production) to complete the commercial role.

Our client do require someone with previous experience working directly for a Developer and are looking for someone with:

• HNC in Surveying or Construction
• Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
• Strong mathematical ability
• Good understanding of budget management
• Negotiating and networking skills
• COINs user experience
• Able to work within a busy team and under pressure
• Good team working skills
• Accurate with an eye for detail
• A methodical approach
