Spaceright Europe Ltd (http://www.spacerighteurope.com/) is offering an exciting Summer Internship opportunity to make a real difference in a dynamic and rapidly expanding SME which manufactures in the UK and distributes globally. Known in the industry for innovative, high demand and top quality educational furniture you will work closely with several divisional offices with an incredibly varied product portfolio enacting change and improvement daily.
This role would ideally suit a recent Product Design graduate with SolidWorks CAD experience looking to develop their skills in a rapidly growing manufacturing company. The position will include the opportunity to work on projects for marketing, operations and production to aid the company learning l business skills. There is an opportunity for this role to expand to a full time position and will suit a hard-working, flexible person with entrepreneurial flair that is not afraid to tackle big projects and directly influence problems.
Design and create School and nursery layouts using CAD (Solidworks) and apply Product Design Engineering skills to a variety of business projects. Also product design, marketing projects, customer bespoke artwork management and ad hoc projects.
This role offers the ability to make real difference in a small, dynamic company where you are valued and able to enact change. You will be able to get involved with many varied projects and you will be expected to take initiative, responsibility and control of your development. You will also be encouraged and have the opportunity to visit suppliers and other group manufacturing plants across the UK.
Should you perform exceptionally in your internship then a full time, permanent position could be offered with long term development and training.
