Editorial Intern in City of London

Job description

ITP UK, part of the global media powerhouse ITP Media Group – publisher of over 70 brands across the UK, US, UAE, India, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia – is looking for a talented and ambitious Editorial Intern to join its London-based editorial team. Working across a portfolio of leading B2B titles including Catering Insight, WatchPro, Care Home Professional, Boutique Hotelier and Professional Jeweller, you’ll gain hands-on experience in digital and print journalism.

You will assist in researching and writing articles, interviewing industry professionals, attending events, managing website content, and supporting social media output.

Expenses will be repaid to the candidates during the internship.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn the workings of an editorial team, develop your journalism skills across a range of specialist sectors, and get published in the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Researching and writing short news stories and features
• Conducting interviews and transcribing quotes
• Supporting editors with digital publishing, newsletters, and content scheduling
• Uploading and formatting content on WordPress
• Assisting with social media activity across brand channels
• Supporting the team at industry events or photoshoots when required

Requirements

• Passion for journalism and strong written English
• Keen interest in business, lifestyle, or industry news
• Proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
• Basic knowledge of CMS platforms and social media tools is a plus
