Organisation & Administration Coordinator (Remote) in Manchester

Beetroot Consulting is looking for an Organisation & Administration Coordinator to bring clarity, structure, and consistency to a fast-moving, mission-driven team. This role supports operational flow, documentation quality, and delivery tracking while working closely with the Founder and Executive Assistant. You’ll help ensure knowledge is captured, systems are clean, and outputs reflect care and professionalism.

21 hours per week
£15.38 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

In this role, you will sit at the centre of Beetroot’s operations, ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and information is reliable, accessible, and well presented. You will translate meetings and decisions into clear actions, keep systems up to date, and bring structure to busy workflows. You’ll also support documentation quality — turning rough drafts into professional outputs and maintaining templates and formats across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Assistant and Founder to track delivery, maintain accountability, and help the team stay organised without creating unnecessary pressure.

Key tasks include:

  • Formatting reports, slide decks, and organisational documents

  • Maintaining templates and consistency across proposals, letters, and reports

  • Logging actions from board and leadership meetings

  • Tracking tasks in Trello/Notion and flagging gaps or risks

  • Maintaining tidy digital filing systems and naming conventions

  • Supporting onboarding of new starters with checklists and set-up documents

  • Providing general admin support: meeting prep, note-taking, follow-ups

  • Covering colleagues during leave to ensure continuity of operations

What we offer

  • Fixed-term employed contract
  • Remote working (UK-based) with optional Manchester collaboration
  • Clear review point and opportunity for role development
  • Supportive, care-centred working culture
  • Monthly salary payments
  • Unlimited holiday (minimum 20 days pro-rata + bank holidays)
  • Pension with employer contribution (5–8% depending on tenure)
  • Respectful, wellbeing-first sickness policy
  • Reimbursement for pre-approved work expenses (travel, tools, setup)

What we ask

  • At least finished college A levels
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills
  • Confidence managing logs, trackers, and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and formatting standards
  • Comfortable holding accountability and nudging others tactfully
  • Familiarity with Trello, Notion, PowerPoint, Word, and shared drives
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong values alignment with equity, care, and collaborative working
  • Right to work in the UK

Extra information

We’re offering this role at 0.6 FTE through our current transition phase until March 2026. In February 2026, we’ll pause together to reflect: do we still need this role in its current form, is there scope to grow into new systems or product sets, or is it time to close it? The review is designed to be honest about limits while keeping space for growth and possibility.

We are welcoming informal discussions with candidates who would be interested in learning more about the role, in the month of October 2025, prior to a formal interview process. Adjustments available throughout the process. All offers subject to right-to-work in the UK.
