Social Media Intern in London

We are looking for a creative social media intern to help us manage and grow our accounts across different platforms.

What are you going to do:

Key Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be able to exemplify
good organisational and technical skills, as well as an interest and passion
for all things social. On-top of this, there is a real need for creative
talent, someone who can help develop Stephens House and Gardens presence
through different platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media accounts
  • Grow and engage with our online audience
  • Assist in creating and managing social media
    campaigns
  • Researching relevant information for online
    content
  • Help to create meaningful content
  • In addition – you may be asked to assist with
    creating content for our website, updating our website and assisting with
    our membership scheme.

What we ask:

  • GCSEs
  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Some experience in growing/maintaining a
  • strong social media presence
  • A solid experience with creative writing
  • An understanding of current online trends
  • A self-driven and innovative attitude.
As an intern, a passion and interest for Social
Media will be critical. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable

experience of channel and content management in relation to the following platforms:

Stephens House and Gardens is a Grade ll listed house with extensive landscaped gardens, gifted for the use and enjoyment of the people by Henry Charles 'Inky' Stephens of the Stephens' Ink Company.

The venue is registered charity based in Finchley, North London and the candidate will be working with a small and friendly team.

Please note:

  • This is a 3 – 6 month unpaid work experience
  • It is part-time but requires 10 hours / week minimum
  • You shall work on the premises however we are flexible to those who would also like to work some hours from home
  • Your travel and lunch expenses will be covered
