Full Time Experienced Care Workers - Drivers Only in Nottngham in Nottingham
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full time Care Worker living in Nottingham. This role is in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients, promoting their independence while delivering high-quality patient care.
20 - 40 hours per week
Between £12.21 and £12.50 Per Hour
What are you going to do:
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health status and report any concerns.
- Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care is essential.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices in senior care.
- Familiarity with behaviour management approaches is advantageous.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals catering to dietary needs.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
