About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to provide essential support to the payroll function during the absence of a team member. This is a temporary role, ideal for someone with strong numerical skills and payroll experience who can step in quickly and keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll processing to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time
• Maintain payroll records and update employee information as required
• Support the finance team with general accounts administration
• Handle queries from employees regarding pay and deductions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payroll or accounts administration

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with staff and management.
