About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Systems Specialist to join our global HR Technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Workday experience who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and supporting a broad HR community.

In this role, you'll work hands-on with Workday, providing first-line systems support, contributing to configuration enhancements-particularly within Recruitment-and helping ensure our people systems run smoothly. You'll work closely with HR colleagues, recruiting teams, and internal IT partners across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as first-line support for Workday queries, managing the Workday specialist queue in ServiceNow and escalating to functional leads when necessary.

  • Support configuration and maintenance across active Workday modules, with a focus on recruiting enhancements.

  • Produce and maintain system training materials and user guidance.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system usability.

  • Work closely with internal IT teams to ensure changes consider downstream system impacts.

  • Participate in Workday bi-annual releases, including regression testing, feature exploration, and stakeholder communication.

  • Provide testing support for wider people systems projects within the team.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • At least one year of hands-on Workday experience, with strong knowledge of Core HCM and Recruitment modules.

  • Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Compensation, Talent & Performance, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits.

  • Strong organisational skills and experience working with incident management tools.

  • Competency in the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively within a global and often virtual team.

  • Understanding of HRIS governance and operational frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
