A strong name in the UK MGA market, this business is among the largest and most established in its sector, with over a decade trading successfully in mid-market and specialty commercial combined risks.

Supported by strong capacity from leading insurers, the business has built a reputation for disciplined growth and trusted broker partnerships.

Following solid regional growth over the last 18 months, the firm is now looking to appoint a New Business Underwriter to focus on broker growth - creating space to keep moving forward and capture new opportunities.

The role:

• Underwrite new specialty commercial combined business from brokers
• Build and strengthen broker relationships, supported by strong capacity and appetite to trade
• Work closely with the sales team to identify and secure new agency appointments
• Contribute to regional plans and have input into underwriting approach and development
• Operate fully remotely, with flexibility to meet brokers face-to-face where it adds value

What you’ll bring:

• Solid underwriting background in commercial combined or specialty risks
• Confidence and judgement in trading directly with brokers to write balanced, profitable business
• A collaborative approach and interest in being part of a growing, well-supported regional team
