Visibility & Engagement Coordinator (Remote) in Manchester

Join Beetroot Consulting as a Visibility & Engagement Coordinator. You’ll shape how our work shows up online through social media, light video editing, content planning and community care, supporting a calm, consistent and values-aligned digital presence.

15 hours per week
£13.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

In this role, you’ll be the steady hand behind Beetroot’s online presence. You’ll turn everyday moments across the team - research, events, behind-the-scenes work - into engaging, thoughtful content. You’ll schedule posts, look after comments and DMs, and make sure everything feels warm, human and aligned with our care-first values. You’ll also support small campaigns, keep content organised, and help build a sustainable rhythm for how the organisation shows up publicly.

You will:

  • Edit and repurpose short-form video for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).

  • Create simple visual assets in Canva (quote graphics, stat tiles, CTAs).

  • Write and polish captions that are clear, accessible, and values-aligned.

  • Schedule and publish content on LinkedIn and Instagram.

  • Maintain the content calendar and digital asset library.

  • Offer light-touch care for comments and DMs, escalating sensitive issues.

  • Track engagement metrics and summarise weekly performance.

  • Coordinate with freelancers, designers, and event teams when needed.

  • Provide cover for colleagues and support visibility during events and conferences.

Nice to have:

  • Analytics and reporting experience

  • Live event posting

  • CRM hygiene and research support skills

  • Light design or illustration ability

What we offer

  • Fixed-term employed role (Jan 2025 – March 2026)
  • Remote working within the UK, with optional in-person collaboration in Manchester
  • Pension with employer contributions (5–8% scaled by service)
  • Paid monthly
  • Work expenses reimbursed (pre-approved)
  • Supportive, inclusive and care-centred work culture
  • Six-month review to explore continuation or growth of the role

What we ask

  • No minimum education required
  • Experience with short-form video editing (Reels / TikTok / clips)
  • Confidence using Canva for visual content
  • Organisational strength and comfort managing content calendars
  • Strong written communication and accessibility awareness
  • Interest in care-led leadership, equity-focused work, and feminist values
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and independently
