Computer Numerical Control Machinist
STAFFORDSHIRE PRECISION ENGINEERING LIMITED is looking for an Computer Numerical Control Machinist in Newcastle-Under-Lyme
Job description
Due to exciting opportunities in motorsport and aerospace sectors, we have positions available for experienced machinists in the following areas:
- Turning - using Fanuc controlled lathes. Experience with sliding head lathes would be an advantage.
- 5 axis machinists - using Mazak & Matsuura machining centres for low volume production of complex parts. Experience with CADCAM programming would be an advantage.
We have positions available on both day and night shifts. Both shifts are 39 hours basic plus regular overtime.
The day shift hours are Mon-Thur 07.30 - 16.30 & Fri 07.30 - 12.30. Overtime is available before and after the standard start and finish times.
The night shift hours run over four nights Monday - Thursday from 18.00.
The night shift premium is 1.33 x rate.
The overtime rate for both shifts is 1.5 x rate.
Hourly rates are dependent on skill level and experience.
