Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to supervise the daily operations of our team, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The successful candidate will maintain high customer service standards in collaboration with the Shift Team Leader and Passenger Operations Manager. You will handle staff issues and matters on a day-to-day basis, providing essential support to the Shift Team Leader and Passenger Operations Manager across all areas of the business. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of check-in procedures, compliance with security regulations, and high levels of proficiency in airport operations. Additionally, you should possess excellent customer product knowledge and a strong commitment to safety compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and guidance to check-in staff
  • Discipline and standards within the passenger services area
  • Liaison with customer airlines, acquisition of flight briefs
  • Collation and dissemination of telex and other information to relevant parties
  • Set up of check-in areas including desks, pre-flight and signage as required
  • Supervision of check-in, floor walking and supervision of gates as required
  • Allocation of staff breaks and gate staff as required
  • On time flight opening and closure
  • Completion of daily worksheets and operational planning

We are looking for someone with strong leadership and coaching abilities, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should excel in people management, negotiation, and influencing, with a proven track record in change management. Proficiency in IT, the ability to motivate others, and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.
