Palliative Paramedic Specialist


Looking for regular, well-paid locum work as a Paramedic?

Ready to use your paramedic expertise in a different way?


Join us as a Palliative Paramedic Specialist and provide expert, compassionate end-of-life care across our community services. This is your opportunity to make a profound difference to patients and families when they need it most.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Assessing, planning and delivering specialist palliative care with full autonomy
  • Managing complex symptoms including pain, breathlessness, delirium and nausea
  • Communicating sensitive, complex information with empathy to patients and families
  • Home visiting service (car and driver provided)


Further details:


  • Shift pattern: 10pm-7am, 7 days a week.
  • Rate: £40-£45 per hr.
  • Block bookings available (up to 3 months ahead)
  • Weekly pay.
  • Quick onboarding process (2 weeks)
  • Paid induction.


What You'll Need


Essential:

  • HCPC registered Paramedic
  • Clinical experience in palliative settings
  • Urgent and emergency background.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning and management planning skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team
