IT Category Lead

We are delighted to be supporting a fantastic Public Sector organisation as they recruit for an ICT Category Lead. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our transformation journey, supporting critical workstreams and delivering value for money.
In this role you will be:

• Lead the ICT Category Team in delivering compliant, value-driven procurement and contract activities.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with the organisation's commercial and operational goals.
• Manage complex procurement projects from need identification to contract signature.
• Drive supplier performance and risk management, ensuring contracts deliver maximum value.

• Proven experience in high-value, complex ICT procurement and contract management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
• Expertise in market analysis, category planning, and strategic sourcing.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, manage resources, and deliver transformation.
