Milton Keynes | Hybrid/Flexible Working | £80,000 - £85,000 Salary or Day Rates will be considered

Seeking a technically strong Financial Controller to lead a financial & management accounting function.

We’re working with a Mid-Sized business on a critical hire for an experienced Interim Financial Controller. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of financial accounting, embedding rigour, process, and control across the finance function.

The Role:

• Lead the monthly group close process, ensuring accuracy and governance.
• Develop and embed robust financial controls across the business.
• Drive the group’s year-end close and external audit process.
• Own the production of the UK statutory accounts and annual report.
• Shape and evolve group accounting policies in line with best practice.
• Lead a growing financial accounting team, building capability and process excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Mid-Senior-level experience in financial reporting, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to transform and uplift core accounting and control processes.
• Experience managing group audit and statutory reporting processes end to end.
