Job description

Head of Sales – Europe

Location: Anywhere in Europe (Remote)

Industry: Global Apparel & Textile Manufacturing

About the Company

Our client is a globally recognised apparel and textile manufacturer with decades of excellence and deep-rooted success across the APAC region. Operating at scale and trusted by major international brands, the company blends advanced production capabilities with strong design, sampling, and technical expertise.

Now, they are ready for their next frontier: establishing a meaningful presence in Europe. This expansion is not a tentative step, it’s a strategic move fuelled by investment, confidence, and long-term ambition. To ignite this journey, they are seeking an entrepreneurial commercial leader who thrives on autonomy, is energised by the unknown, and wants to be the company’s very first employee on European ground.

If you’re someone who sees opportunity where others see a blank page, this role offers the rare chance to build something new, powered by the resources and stability of a global giant behind you.

Role Overview

The Head of Sales – Europe will lead all commercial activities across the continent, opening doors with brands, retailers, sourcing offices, and buying teams. You will build the market from scratch, developing strategy, generating leads, converting business, and forging long-term partnerships. You will also serve as the strategic link between European customers and APAC production teams to ensure smooth development cycles and high-impact customer service.

This role suits a natural builder: ambitious, proactive, and excited by the challenge of laying the foundations for a future European organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a European sales and growth strategy aligned with global priorities.
  • Identify, approach, and win new business with brands, retailers, and sourcing partners across Europe.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations, showcasing capabilities, materials, and innovation.
  • Translate buyer needs and technical feedback into clear direction for APAC design, merchandising, and production teams.
  • Lead pricing discussions, negotiate timelines, and convert developments into confirmed orders.
  • Represent the company in the European market with professionalism, energy, and commercial focus.
  • Build long-term relationships and establish the groundwork for future regional expansion.
  • Stay close to EU apparel trends, pricing shifts, and product demand; attend trade fairs and industry events.

Experience & Competencies

  • 7+ years in apparel manufacturing sales, sourcing, B2B apparel business development, or retail buying within Europe.
  • Strong track record of generating new business and opening new markets.
  • Solid technical understanding of garment construction, fabrics, costing, and timelines.
  • High level of independence, confidence, and self-management, comfortable being the sole representative in Europe initially.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: ambitious, opportunity-seeking, innovative, and motivated by building something from the ground up.
